Families of Iranian Daravish hold a huge anti-government demonstration in capital Tehran, protesting against current pressures on their inmate relatives by Mullahs’ agents. Families of other political prisoners joined the protesters, making a huge crowd near the General Prosecutor office in capital Tehran.
According to the reports posted on the Daravish web site, the Iranian regime’s anti-riot Special Forces tried to crackdown the protesters by using tear gas, beating the crowd with batons and shooting in the air. Yet, the protest became more intensified andextended to the neighboring streets and areas.
Tens of protesters were arrested and clashes with government forces continued till late afternoon, reports said.
The Darvish group had called for this peaceful demonstration days before.
