Coinciding with Rouhani’s entrance to the regime’s Ministry of Oil building on Monday, February 16th, an Iranian oil industry worker set himself ablaze and committed suicide in a protest measure.
According to the Revolutionary Guards’ run Fars news agency, this 58-year old protester – whose name has not been revealed by the regime – was an oil industry employee in the country’s southern regions. After this incident it was reported that his body had 55% burns.
The reason for his suicide was the Iranian regime officials neglecting the demands of retired workers and taking the townhomes of retired workers.
