Al Arabiya Net reported on July 27 citing a statement issued by the National Council of Resistance of Iran Foreign Affairs Commission saying the Iranian opposition condemned the announcement of EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini’s trip to Iran. The NCRI statement said due to continuous human rights violations by Iran and the West’s silence vis-à-vis Tehran’s aggression and meddling in the region, they are condemning Mogherini’s trip to Iran as it neglects all these atrocities.
NCRI Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Mohammad Mohaddessin said Ms. Mogherini should know that Iran is at its weakest point and has no prospect for the future.
