Workers of Varamin Sugar Cone Factory staged a protest gathering in front Varamin provincial office on April 18th. It has been months since these workers have been living in uncertainty.

The workers’ protest gathering started at 9:00am, and lasted four hours until 1:00pm. They protested against anti-labor move by the factory management commission. Despite the protest and workers’ plea, this government backed company did not provide any relief for their workers.
