Complementary reports from the capital Tehran indicates that a large number of suppressive state security forces were dispatched in sensitive streets of Tehran on Sunday and Monday out of fear of wide spread protests.
Police had been stationed in the popular Vanak Sq. as well as in Karim-Khan, Bali-asr, Enghelab, Fatemi and other populated streets and districts of the Capital.
Rafsanjani faction has announced that they are not going to celebrate the result of the election, fearing that it would become a springboard for an anti-government protest.
