Former employees of Boojan Refrigerating Company in Khorram-Abad, western Iran, protested against unpaid wages and salaries on Tuesday Jan, 13 in front of the main company headquarter.
One protesting employee said the factory has been closed for some times due to financial problems, but we were promised to be rehired and get back to work upon reopening. But this did not happen. The company has been reopened and we are out of job, the company management did not act upon its promise and its pledge. And our efforts to regain our old jobs have so far failed.
