In an interview with Babeliya TV, Dr. Saleh Mutlaq, leader of the Iraqi National Dialogue Front, said: The political currents connected to the foreign countries target the leaders of Awakening Councils in order to monopolize the sovereignty.

Dr. Mutlaq warned of the attacks on the Awakening Councils and said: A large number of Awakening Councils’ members have been targeted and the last one was Major Riadh al-Samarraii, commander of A’dhamiya Awakening Council.
