Unrest in Iran and the clear voice of resistance

Dag Bladt (Netherlands), 31 Oct 2012 – Professor Henk de Haan, President of the Dutch Friends of a Free Iran Group who presided the recent symposium in The Hague, said we seek to raise attention towards the horrible human rights violations in Iran and the conditions in Camp Liberty where around 3,000 members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran are living. The conditions in this camp are in complete contrast to international law and United Nations Standards.
The President of the Dutch Friends of a Free Iran Group says in the midst of all this the PMOI delisting from the US list is a beacon of hope. Especially in Iran human rights conditions have flagrantly and suddenly deteriorated. The number of executions has increased dramatically. The Tehran regime is the world record holder in the number of executions. Public unrest has become a fire under the ashes. Take a look at the recent protests in Tehran and other cities. Iran’s society is boiling everywhere. The economy is collapsing, economic policy is a mess and the regime’s power base is crumbling.
Mr. de Haan believes Iran must be further isolated. He doesn’t expect to fall through a foreign element. The National Council of Resistance is a serious alternative facing this regime. People everywhere are ready to rise. One cannot forecast the time of the explosion but it is better to be ready for that moment. We must prepare to rush to the people’s support.
