US Deputy Secretary of State on democracy and human rights affairs announced in an interview that human rights situation in Iran had worsened with respect to the last year.

She added that the human rights situation has worsened in Iran in recent years; that incluedes number of executions particularly juvenile executions which has increased; also torture and suppression of press, women and workers has increased.

She also expressed concern over the judiciary power role in deterioration of human rights condition
