3rd month of hunger strike by Camp Liberty residents & Iranians in 5 countries for release of 7 hostages

Today, the hunger strike of residents of Camp Liberty and Iranians in Geneva, Berlin, London, Ottawa, and Melbourne entered its 60th day. Tomorrow will mark the beginning of the third month of the hunger strikes. Release of seven Ashraf residents who were taken hostage on September 1 by Iraqi forces, tops the demands of the hunger strikers.
One of the physicians at Camp Liberty who checks the physical condition of the hunger strikers every day, in a letter to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights wrote:
most of the men and women on hunger strike have lost 20% of their weight….They are suffering from lack of sleep, headaches, dizziness, lack of eyesight, lack of hearing, various muscular, bone and joint pains, and lack of concentration.
I can mention various cases…, they are suffering from serious life risks. This issue is especially more so in the female hunger strikers. He also warned that the Liberty residents are on the brink of a great humanitarian catastrophe, which is befalling in front of the eyes of the international community, therefore it is necessary that you take urgent action to prevent this catastrophe.
