Iran hasn’t fulfill its commitment to halt violent attacks in Iraq, Khalilzad

In a speech at the United Nations, Zalmay Khalilzad, US ambassador to the UN, stressed that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) continues to train, equip and finance the Shiite militias and extremists.

Khalilzad underscored that the Iranian regime has not fulfilled its commitments to the Iraqi government to halt violent attacks in Iraq.

He said the security situation improvement in Iraq was due to the surge of 30,000 troops by Washington.
