The Pakistani government is exporting Basmati rice or wheat to Iran in exchange for its debt of over $100 million to Iran for imported electricity.
The Tasnim news agency, associated to the terrorist IRGC Quds Force, cited Pakistani media saying “Considering the UN sanctions there is no way to pay Iran in dollars. Tehran has expressed its interest in receiving the debt in rice exports from Pakistan.”
Furthermore, Vaqar Mahmoud, an official of Pakistan’s Finance Ministry, said the Pakistan’s national electricity company is interested to pay-off their debt to Iran through trade transactions.
