Asharq Al Awsat daily posted a report on Sunday, August 30th citing various sources in the joint forces in Yemen saying ground operations aimed at liberating Ma’rib Province have begun east of Yemen. This operation will be carried out by Arab coalition forces near the Safer region in Ma’rib.
Simultaneously, more military equipment is being transferred from Saudi soil to the border region of Beijan neighboring Ma’rib Province.
Further reports indicate the city of Aden is witnessing new security measures and the formation of a special division for emergency conditions. This division is missioned to confront any militant attacks.
