Reports from inside Iran indicate the regime has sent SMS messages for its Bassij paramilitary members in the cities of Ahvaz and Shushtar in Iran’s southwestern Khuzestan Province calling on them to dispatch to Syria in return for special benefits and high income. These messages are sent only to Bassij members.
This is yet another sign of the mullahs’ desperate efforts to save Assad’s regime through direct meddling and participating in the crackdown of the Syrian people’s uprising.
