During the Friday prayer sermon in Tehran, Mullah Movahhedi Kermani, one of Iran’s top hardline clerics insisted on the continuation of the country’s nuclear program. “Iran will not depart from Uranium Enrichment even one iota and will not abandon its right to nuclear energy,” said Kermani during the Friday prayer sermon.
He expressed concern over the continuation of the National Emergency with respect to Iran saying: “By writing letter to Iran, Obama did show his good will gesture, but before the ink in the letter dries, he jumped and continued the national emergency with Iran… Obama and Kerry say ’No agreement is better that a bad agreement’. We would say the same. We say no agreement is better than accepting imposition, bullying and tolerating cruel American suggestions.”
