Iran: More than 10 months in detention, a web logger is sentenced to death

Soheil Arabi, 30, an internet activist and a political prisoner in notorious Evin Prison was sentenced to 3 years in prison and later was increased to death by hanging. Soheil is accused of uploading an article titled “a generation that doesn’t want to be burned” which contains anti-regime materials and condemns the top cleric, Khamenei. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison under torture and to be executed at the end of this period. He has spent little over 10 months in prison and he is being kept in the notorious Evin prison.
This prisoner of conscious has been under torture from the start.
