A senior commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards expressed concerns over the outbreak of another uprising and popular demonstrations across the country.
Senior IRGC member Mohammad Sha’bani forecasted a new ‘sedition’ beginning in Iran this month.
“The next sedition may begin from the streets and reach the elections,” he said referring to the regime’s upcoming presidential elections in 2013.
Khamenei has ordered the IRGC to prepare itself for the harshest of conditions, he revealed.
