Iraqiya Coalition leader Ayad Allawi said he is not willing to be part of the political trend in Iraq that is run by Iran.
“I will exit a political trend that destroys national unity and Iraq’s Arab identity,” he said in an interview with the Jordanian al-Qad daily.
“I am not honored to be part of a political trend that is run by Iran in Iraq,” Allawi continued.
“I will not allow Maliki to remain in power and the al-Anbar protests began with legitimate demands but the government neglected these rallies on the pretext that these protest camps are refuges for al-Qaeda and terrorists,” he added.
