Iraqiya slate leader Ayad Allawi stated in an interview with Al Arabiya TV:
“The Iranian regime has an irregular influence in Iraq. This regime acts as a true obstacle in the path of real national reconciliation. The US’ complete defeat in the absence of a clear policy is absolutely visible. There is confusion about the solutions for the problems, including the problem of Iraq. I think that the UN Secretary General’s visit of Baghdad was a completely failed trip. Ban Ki-moon should have met with tribal leaders and peaceful protesters in the Anbar Province.”
Al Jazeera TV reported: Nouri Maliki’s Army has once again initiated in shelling the city of Fallujah. As a result of the mortar impacts near the emergency building in Fallujah, one was killed and several others were wounded. Moreover, the suburbs of Fallujah are the scene of scattered clashes between armed tribal forces and Maliki’s forces. The tribal forces said they torched three vehicles belonging to Maliki’s forces in a battle east of Ramadi. Government attack helicopters had also taken part in this battle.
