Bandar Abbas Prison inmates protested continuing power outages and intense heat that has led dehydration amongst the prisoners. They are demanding this problem be resolved.
According to reports received from inside Iran during the past few days power outages have occurred repeatedly in this prison and inmates in closed halls have become dehydrated due to the intense heat. According to this report all the halls of this prison are closed and there is no possibility for the inmates to enjoy fresh air. The number of prisoners in each ward is many times over the capacity and this has caused extremely tough conditions and inhumane for political prisoner and ordinary inmates.
