Al Sharqiya TV aired the remarks of an Iraqi women jailed in Maliki’s prisons revealing a portion of the crimes being committed in these dungeons.
“Female inmates in Iraq’s prisons demand an international investigation on human rights violations and hideous tortures being carried out against women,” she said.
In a telephone interview with Al Sharqiya, this prisoner also called on Iraqi jurists unions to conduct an immediate international investigation on the conditions of Iraqi women in the country’s detention facilities.
The Iraqi Bar Association demanded an urgent international investigation in the conditions of Iraqi female prisoners.
“They are in conditions that violate the most fundamental human rights principles,” this association announced, calling for the immediate release of innocent female prisoners and the punishment of all individuals who have violated their rights.
