The clerical dictatorship ruling Iran has promised Syria’s bloodthirsty dictator to provide him refuge in case of his downfall.
“Iranian Majlis (parliament) speaker Ali Larijani in a meeting in Damascus with Bashar Assad indicated Khamenei’s will to welcome him in Tehran after his overthrow,” Lebanon’s al-Mostaqbal daily reported citing a credible source.
“In Iraq, it appears the faith of Syria’s president has been the subject of discussion in talks between his allies to provide him a safe haven in Tehran and Baghdad,” the paper added.
