Following an agreement between Germany and Austria over welcoming more refugees, German officials are expecting nearly 10,000 refugees from Hungary alone, media outlets reported on Saturday, September 5th. These refugees walked to Vienna to be able to then reach Germany.
Austrian police said in the early morning hours of Saturday more than 4,000 asylum seekers entered Austrian soil. There are still 1,000 asylum seekers in train stations waiting but both Germany and Austria have said they will accept thousands of asylum seekers in their countries.
