Majority of unemployed but educated population in Iran have expert technical trainings and university degrees. The rate of unemployment amongst educated people with degrees higher than expertise has been on the rise in the past few years. A large number of these inactive populations are educated women. Of the 5.7 million inactive educated population in Iran, women account to 3,406,762.
