
Yemen popular resistance forces and National Army units have entered the strategic city of Abyan Province and advanced towards the city of Lodar, Al Arabiya TV reported on Monday, August 10th.
Saudi-led Arab coalition warplanes launched airstrikes against Houthi centers in the Irhab district north of Sana’a, in addition to Houthi sites in Omran Province, killing many of the rebels.
It is said Houthi military commanders and other militants in Omran Province suffered serious casualties in Monday’s bombings.
Houthi positions in Al Bayda Province in the center of the country were targeted by popular resistance forces, resulting in at least 20 Houthis and Ali Abdullah Salah elements being killed.
Popular resistance forces captured the triangle region of Abyan Province and cut-off aid to Houthi militants in the city of Lodar.
