The Organization of Islamic Cooperation issued a statement on Tuesday after its emergency session in Jidda, Saudi Arabia, condemning the continuous massacring of the Syrian people at the hands of the Assad regime. OIC described this as the main cause of the humanitarian crises and the current refugee ordeal.
This organization went on to emphasize on the necessity to stop Russian support for Bashar Assad and called on the UN to dispatch a peacekeeping force to Syria.
