Head of the Center of Virus Management in the Iranian regime’s Health Ministry announced the number of H1N1 influenza victims in Iran as high as 57, the state-run Mehr news agency reported on Tuesday.
Dr. Mohammad Mehdiguya said during the past two weeks alone there have been more than 2,700 suspicious cases of influenza patients evaluated in 12 labs across the country.
“896 of these cases have been identified as the H1N1 virus across the country,” he added.
New deaths reported during the past week have reached 11 cases in different provinces, with 2 cases in Lorestan, 2 in Mazandaran, 2 in Alborz, 1 Khuzestan, 1 in Dezful, 1 in Golestan and 2 in cases in Tabriz.
