A session was held in the Australian Federal Parliament in Canberra with participation of a number of Iranian Resistance supporters including a number of MPs and Senators. The session was held on the invitation of Mrs. Senator Claire Moore from the ruling Labor Party and was chaired by Mrs. Meridis Bergman, former chairwoman of the New South Wales Parliament.

Senators Kerry Netal, Robert Weber, Claire Moore, Gion Marshal, Andrew Bartlet and Australian Congressmen Larry Fergusson and Kelvin Thomson participated in this session.
Iran’s latest political developments under the clerical regime was discussed and evaluated in this session, and the parliamentarians expressed their full support for the Iranian Resistance and released statements on this issue.
