Cardinal Nasrullah Safeer, leader of Lebanon’s Maronite Christians condemned the Iranian and Syrian regimes for meddling in that country.

He said: The opponents of Fuad al-Saniura’s legal government are affiliated with the Iranian and Syrian regimes and take orders from these regimes.

He pointed out at the obstruction of Iran and Syria in Lebanon’s President’s election and said: There is no excuse for postponing election of Michele Sulaiman, Lebanon’s Army Commander, to presidency.
