Ali Mohammadi, a prisoner detained in Urumieh Prison, committed suicide by consuming a large amount of pills after a week on hunger strike. This prisoner, transferred to solitary confinement for going on hunger strike, committed suicide in the prison clinic on Thursday night, August 6. He was then transferred to a prison outside of the hospital.
Mohammadi was arrested back in 209.
