Workers of the Bardsir sugar cube factory located in Kerman Province, central Iran, have yet to receive any response to their protests. Based on reports from the ‘Iran Karegar (Worker)’ outlet, the sugar cube factory – one of the active factories in the city of Bardsir in Kerman Province – had 220 workers. Yet this factory has been closed own for a long time and many of its workers have not received their salaries for up to 12 months. Despite the workers’ continuous follow ups no official from the factory or any other entity has given them any kind of response.
