After a three week shutdown Greek banks are finally back into business. Banks open their doors Monday morning after the European Central Bank increased emergency funding last week. Capital controls and withdrawal limits are still in place. Greeks can only take out 420 € each week, meaning around $450.
No real difference has been reported from inside Greece. People are out but they are very hesitant to go out and spend quite as much. Much less Greeks are now on vacation. The difference is more people being anxious about their immediate future. No day to day disruptions have been reported on the surface.
