Disclosed WikiLeaks telegrams say the Iranian and Syrian regimes smuggled cash to North Korea, The Wall Street Journal reported.
In telegrams seen by The Wall Street Journal, US officials had warned their correspondents in Jordan that North Korea is receiving money from the Iranian and Syrian regimes through the Amman-based Arab Bank.
Aside from the abovementioned telegram, the US says the Syrian regime has purchased nuclear technology from Pyongyang and the Iranian regime has obtained long-range North Korean-made missiles, this report added.
In August 2007, the US State Department told its embassy in Amman through a telegram about their concerns of the regimes in North Korea, Iran and Syria using the Arab Bank, the Journal continued.
