One of the demands protesters is for Maliki to stop his policies of elimination and repression, Al Jazeera added.
In the meantime, protest organizers in Mosul said Maliki’s forces attacked protesters in the city’s Ahrar Square on Monday. This attack took place after protesters refused to meet with a ministerial committee led by Maliki’s deputy Hossein Shahrestani.
