Half of Tehran’s shirt sellers and sewers in the bazaar went on strike on Monday, August 4th, protesting the regime’s tax extortions. One of the strikers said, “The specified taxes are skyrocketing. When there is no sale and the market is 100% in recession, where are the producers and retailers supposed to get their income from to pay such taxes.”
Pave, Iran Kurdistan
Workers of the Sana Company in this town protested not receiving six months of their last wages, rallying on Sunday, August 2nd, outside the regime’s governorate office in this city. The Sana Company had built the hydroelectric power station in the Dariya Dam in the town of Pave.
