At least 3 people have been killed in a powerful 8.3 magnitude earthquake at the Chilean coast. The epicenter of this quake was about 50 kilometers west of the city of illapel in Chile which is about 3 hours north of the capital, Santiago.
This earthquake terrified the locals in nearby cities and towns, and many of the residents spent the night outside of their homes.
Residents have warned of tsunamis on the coastlines and other South American Countries.
