Sanandaj municipality workers went on strike on Tuesday and Wednesday of last week, protesting the expulsion of 25 of their co-workers. These workers refused to go to work for these two days and rallied outside the regime’s governor office, also demanding short-term contracts to come to an end and all workers to sign official contracts.

In other Iran protest news, a group of nurses in a Tehran hospital went on strike on Tuesday, July 22nd, protesting inadequate conditions in this facility and the incompetence of hospital officials.
