Iranians chanted “Welcome” to the head of the Iranian opposition on her arrival in Estonia

Delfi, 11 Nov 2012 – The leader of the Iranian opposition in exile Maryam Rajavi arrived Sunday evening in Tallinn. A large number of her compatriots living in Scandinavia came to welcome joyfully shouting: “Welcome!” Tunne Kelam MEP and MP Juku-Kalle Raid were among the dignitaries who welcomed her.

Juku-Kalle Raid told Delfi that Maryam Rajavi came to Estonia on their call for a three-day visit, she has planned a series of meetings, including with members of parliament.
Raid added that  Mrs. Rajavi is fighting against the Iranian mullahs’ regime since 1981 and he went to Paris for their summer gathering where he invited Mrs. Rajavi to come to Estonia.

“Estonia can show solidarity with this movement,” said Raid.
“It would be absurd to believe that what is happening in Iran, has no relation with Estonia, especially as they are enriching uranium, “said Raid.
