According to published reports, a 25-yr man named Kaveh Azizpour, an Iranian Kurdish political prisoner, passed away after being 20 days in coma due to the tortures imposed by the Intelligence Ministry (MIOS) agents at Mahabad Prison, northwestern Iran.
The Newsletter Amir Kabir wrote: Kaveh Azizpour, residing in Mahabad, who had been arrested and imprisoned two years ago by the MIOS agents in Mahaved was hospitalized a while ago in Urumiyeh Hospital due to tortures and was taken under surgery twice; eventually he passed away in Urumiyeh hospital .
The death of this young man has created a wave of anger and disgust against the clerical regime among the people of Mahabad.
