Based on reports received from inside Iran, the burial ceremony of PMOI supporter Mohsen Dokmechi was the scene of brutal attacks by state suppressive forces on the families and other participants. The security forces intended to arrest the individual in charge of holding this ceremony.
On Wednesday, March 30th, a large number of people gathered in Behesht Zahra Cemetary (located southwest of Tehran) attending the burial ceremony of PMOI supporter Mohsen Dokmechi. This ceremony, beginning from hours before ended at 3 p.m. when suppressive forces attacked the participants and intended to arrest one of the individuals carrying out the religious burial rituals.
The participants began to confront the attackers, resisting the suppressive forces’ attacks and preventing the individual from being arrested.
