The chief advisor of the Awakening Councils of Iraq, Abu Ezaam al-Tamimi said: the Iranian regime and the armed militias affiliated with it are supporting Al-Qaeda and they are waging war against the Awakening Councils in Iraq.

Abu Ezaam talking in an interview with the Al-Sharqia T.V. added: “the Iranian regime and Al-Qaeda have same topics and plan; and there is agreement between them in regional alliance but unfortunately the Iraqi people have fallen victim to this alliance.

Our districts have been ruined and destroyed. Doctors, army and police officers, every one were targets of these killings and all districts and area were unsecured. In all areas Al-Qaeda was active in murder and subversion . But destruction of Iraq and murder of Iraqis is not a matter of concern for the Iranian regime; they are after their political interests. Iranian regime is trying to raise its position in nuclear issue through situation in Iraq.
