3,000 students stage sit-in to protest suppression in their university in southeastern Iran

In protest to brutal attacks by Iranian regime’s agents against the students, more than 3,000students of Sistan and Baluchestan University (southeastern Iran) staged a sit-in while chanting anti-government slogans and shut down university classes.

The students expressed their anger and disguise of the brutal attack of the government agents against the students on Saturday during which a number of students were injured.
The students have formed a council to pursue their demands which include the resignation of the university president.

Also last nigh, a student was stabbed by regime’s guards and was seriously injured. His condition is reported to be critical. Some of the injured students are hospitalized in intensive care unit (ICU).
