INTV, 10 Oct 2013 – The Syrian opposition reported to Reuters that on Wednesday, Lebanese and Iraqi militants supporting Bashar Assad launched attacks near Damascus.
Syrian dissidents said Hezbollah and Iraqi militants staged a severe raid and took control of the city of Sheikh Omar, all backed by aerial bombardments, artillery and tank fire from Assad’s forces. They killed 20 Free Syrian Army members in this attack.
