Coincident with the Iranian regime’s announcement that it’s unable to deal with the currency crisis, today, the plunge of the Rial rate continued and the price of every Dollar reached 2650 Tomans. A state-run news agency wrote about the unprecedented rise in foreign currency rates: The money exchange booths in Ferdousi Square, Tehran’s currency exchange center, is facing changes in the price of various currencies, especially Dollar, in the market. The price of Dollar in Tehran’s bazars has raised to 2650 Tomans and the gold coin to 1,006,000 Tomans. The price of every Euro has reached 3430 Tomans and every Pound 4350 Tomans.
To this end, the escalation in foreign currency prices and plunging Rial prices is out of the regime’s control, proving more than ever its inability.
