Sporadic clashes amongst Iraqi tribal forces and Maliki’s military troops continue in various areas. Reports indicate state forces suffering heavy casualties and damages.
The Iraqi al-Rafedein TV station reported armed tribes set ablaze a tank belonging to Maliki’s forces on the “Qattar” bridge in Ramadi’s “Mal’ab” region. In al-Anbar two HUMVEE vehicles were destroyed near the “al-Shihe” region near the town of Garme, with the crew of both vehicles being killed. Furthermore, in Ramadi’s “Ceramic” avenue another HUMVEE vehicle was destroyed and its crew killed.
