The freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the PMOI in Stockholm, Sweden, Sidney, Australia and Oslo, Norway staged demonstrations in front of bureaus of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRD) to protest the clerical regime’s conspiracies against the City of Ashraf and asked for guarantee of protection of Ashraf residents based on the Geneva fourth Convention.

The demonstrators asked for adopting stance by ICRC and emphasis on the U.S. responsibility in protection of Ashraf residents.

The statements of Association of Democratic specialists, Associations of Women and Youth, supporting NCRI and PMOI, were read in this demonstration. These Associations asked for condemnation of increasing conspiracies of the clerical regime against Ashraf City and demanded emphatically ICRC and the UN that by guaranteeing protection of Ashraf residents by the Multi national Forces prevent a human catastrophe by the clerical regime.

During the demonstration, a delegation of participants referred to the ICRC bureau, expressing their serious concern of the clerical regime’s conspiracies, asked for guarantee of Ashraf protection.

In Australia, chairman of the Iranian Refugee Center- Sidney, Peter Murphy, chairman of Search Foundation charity organization and Stephan Walker, member of the Australians supporting democracy in Iran delivered speeches. They reiterated that the responsibility of the protection of Ashraf is to the account of the MNF-I and its transfer is against the Geneva 4th Convention and against International law.

The Iranian demonstrators in Norway asked the relevant officials for guarantee of protection and observance of the legal rights of Ashraf residents according to the international laws and conventions. A statement read by the Association of Iranian Refugees in Norway partly reads: By its Hysteric propaganda measures, the criminal Iranian regime is going to revenge the statement of 3 million Iraqi Shiites in banishing the Iranian regime and support of the PMOI, annulment of terrorist label of the PMOI in Britain, historical gathering of 70,000 Iranians in Paris on June 28, 2008 and support of majority of Belgian, French and Italian parliaments from the Iranian Resistance through abject atrocities against Ashraf residents.
