The mullahs’ regime, fearing popular protests marking the 14 February 2011 nationwide uprising, placed its repressive forces and agents on alert, reports from inside Iran indicate.
The repressive agents were stationed in various areas across Tehran, including all the intersections of Enghelab Avenue, Enghelab Square, Azadi Avenue and Taleghani Street. In this widespread dispatching of forces, plainclothes agents were also seen on motorcycles with radio transmitters stationed around Tehran University.
Reports indicate that at 3:30 pm local time the regime’s repressive police units and patrol cars were seen around the Art University in order to prevent any possible gathering.
