Al Rafedein TV, 19 Oct 2013 – The Association of Baghdad Mosque Speakers and Imams issued a statement condemning vicious measures imposed by Maliki’s government that show it has no religion, and emphasizing there is no moral principles in this government. This statement goes on to also condemn the insults in government prisons that have taken place against inmates.
This statement reads in part, “Maliki’s government is using the prisoners as hostages to place pressure on various political currents. The inmates thrown to prison by Maliki’s government are facing the most atrocious physical and psychological tortures.”
