moIran: 21% children on the streets are being sextually abused

“According to research conducted in Tehran, 21% of children on the streets have experienced sexual molestation,” said Ibrahim Ghafari, the social deputy of the Iranian regime’s Welfare Organization.
It is clear that amongst all the cases homeless girls are the most vulnerable. In June of this year the “Ghanoon” daily in Iran published a report citing a case of an 11-girl being raped. The documentary showed details of the 11-year old girl being gang raped by six men.
The average of age of molestatioin in the country is 12.5 years amongst girls and 13.7 years amongst boys.
Minu Mohrez, head of the Aids Research Center said the highest rise in AIDS cases is amongst children working in the streets who are infected through rape.
