Q: About the case that is related to Iran and specifically to Iraq; the UK has removed the PMOI from the terrorist list and it is said that the US, after this decision by the UK, will review its position regarding this organization. Are you on the path to remove the PMOI from the list of terrorist organizations?

Ambassador Dell L. Dailey, the Coordinator of the Office for Counterterrorism in the State Department, answered: As to the organizations that are in the terrorist list, we do have a process that we follow to remove any organization from the list. But regarding this specific organization, we are continuously studying and we are considering the issue to see if we should take this organization off the list or not? There are some signs and indications from some certain points of view that may be it is the appropriate time to remove this organization from the list. We gather whatever information necessary, but we have not yet decided to take it off the list.
